New Results Presented at the 5th Earth Mantle Workshop (EMAW)

Two members of our research group participated in the 5th Earth Mantle Workshop,
held in Vienna, Austria, on July 16–17, 2025.

Szabolcs Harangi attended the event as an invited participant and served as a field
trip leader for the excursion showcasing the basaltic outcrops of the Little Hungarian
Plain and the Balaton Uplands.

Our group was also represented by Kende Szűcs, who gave a presentation on our
recent research findings titled:

“Noble gas isotopic composition in olivine phenocrysts from Miocene to Pliocene
basaltic rocks of the Pannonian Basin.”
